Our detailed masterplan for the Cultural Oasis District outlines the roadmap for revitalizing and renewing both the mudbrick Old Town and Historic Oasis. Complementing this plan is an agricultural approach designed to promote sustainable farming practices, empowering local farmers to sustainably steward the historic oasis for generations to come.

The AlUla strategy centers around three main pillars: tourism, heritage, and nature; local community empowerment; and economic diversification. These are complemented by enabling factors such as physical development, service accessibility, and institutional excellence.

A journey through time:

As part of our collaboration with RCU, we contributed to the development of a “Journey Through Time” masterplan, highlighting key heritage districts and archaeological
sites. Working closely with the client, we devised a zoning plan and rulebook that outlines policy guidelines and zoning controls.

These measures aim to safeguard, conserve, and showcase the essential heritage elements while also accommodating the necessary amenities to establish a top – tier visitor destination.
